Please note that the gig originally planned for this coming Sat. 10th December at The Castle in Pontardawe has been cancelled. This was actually cancelled some time ago due to a couple of band members not being available for that date - apologies it was not updated on the giglist. We have had some emails asking if the gig is on or not which is what brought the incorrect giglist to our attention. Apologies again - it is updated now !
Next gigs are this coming Friday 9th Dec at Ellington's (Swansea), followed by Black Friday 16th at The Vault (Swansea) and Saturday 17th at CWC up in Cheltenham. Hope to catch you at one of these !!!!

What a great night at The Club in Morriston on Saturday. Make sure all you live music fans get down there as often as you can to give Meg the support he deserves and ensure this live venue keeps going through these tough times. Meg puts on great quality live bands every Fri/Sat/Sun - check them out.

Good to see many familiar faces along with plenty of new ones at The Vault last Saturday - especially the quick turnaround since the last gig there.
Notice of a gig change - the gig originally scheduled for The Office this coming Saturday (29th) has had to be cancelled. Next gig is now 2 weeks later in The Club up in Morriston (Nov 12th).

Well - what a great Rock & Roll weekend that was. Great night as usual in The Vault on Saturday (although - they need to sort the sound out there else bands will have to start using their own PA), but also a great inaugural Ystrad festival on Sunday evening at the Pirotte manor. Will upload pics soon.

Couple of changes to the giglist. This coming Friday (Royal Wedding Bank Holiday) we will be gigging at The Office in Swansea. This gig was added at short notice - and as it's a national holiday that day - it promises to be a good night.
The other change is that we will NOT be playing at The Castle in Pontardawe the following night (Saturday 30th) due to a work committment. So apologies for that - we're hoping to fit another date in at the Castle ahead of the next scheduled gig there. As ever - please check the Giglist for the latest details.

We have had January pretty much off - after a hectic run-up to Christmas and the New Year playing up in Gloucestershire. We're back to gigs in both Swansea and Cheltenham this month - starting with The Castle in Pontardawe this coming Saturday (5th Feb). Hope to see lots of you there to shake out any new year blues !! A new venue for us this coming weekend which is always nice. We'll be at The Castle in Pontardawe on Sat. 13th. Apparently it's an early start - 8pm - so you may want to get down there in plenty of time if your're thinking of coming along.

Playing in the Met Bar on Friday was like playing somewhere in France - with quite a few Perpignan supporters in for the rugby match the next day (great game too by the way).
Some information:- the gig in the Adam & Eve that was shown in the gig guide for this coming Saturday (16th) is NOT on. This gig was altered some time ago (since the stewardship changed actually) but the Giglist was not updated. Apologies for that - and catch you at the next gig instead !

Great to see so many down in The Vault on Saturday night - and staying so late!!!. It was good to dust off the cobwebs after our summer break - and Gus was even able to stand on his own two feet!. Next gig is up in Cheltenham on Sat. 18th Sept.

  No we're not getting past it and need to do gigs sat down these days .......
Gus managed to snap his achilles tendon just before the weekend.playing football, but we still managed to go ahead with the gig with Gus sat on a bar stool complete with cast. Not exactly rock'n'roll we know , but hey - the show must go on!. See pic....

The Adam & Eve in Swansea is to re-establish itself (again) as a live music venue. It tried this late last year, but failed to make a go of it. However, it is now under new management and they want to try and put the Adam back where its belongs. We wish them the best of luck and we will be adding our support to the cause by scheduling a few live gigs there in the coming months. Check the Giglist for details.
More immediately - we're looking forward to the gig at The Vault on Saturday night (12th June). If it's half as good as it usually is - then it should be a cracker! See you there!

Please note we have ADDED a couple of extra dates at The Vault in Swansea for later this year. You can catch the band down there on September 4th and November 27th, along with the other dates already arranged at what has become one of the best live music venues in Swansea. Just a note to say that we have had to postpone the gig next Saturday (8th May) at The Office due to personal committments that have come up last minute. We hope to re-schedule it in the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye on the Giglist.
On another note - great to see so many of you down in The Vault last Friday - what a great night. Also good to see some old and new faces up in Gloucestershire at the King's Head on Sunday. A great weekend all round.

We have a busy couple of weeks ahead starting TONIGHT down in The Coyote Bar just off Wind Street in Swansea. Come along and grab a cocktail and listen to some great live music. The following week were are back down in The Vault in Wind Street (Friday 30th) followed by a trip up to Gloucestershire for a gig in the King's Head in Bishop's Cleeve on Bank Holiday Sunday (May 2nd). Some sad news for the Swansea live music scene - the Adam & Eve has had to cease having live music. The Adam re-opebed last summer but it has failed to make a go of it and has had to stop the live music due to cost cutting measure. This is particularly sad for anyone invloved in live nusic in Swansea as the Adam has played a pivotal roll over the years. Hopefully - its time will come again!

Happy Birthday to our illustrious drummer Ian who hits the big 5-0 today (he doesn't look a day over 49 ;-). We're looking forward to the celebrations at the Ynystawe Cricket Club this coming Friday where we will be playing along with Tony & Gwyn in what should be a fun evening.
The following night (Sat 2nd) we will be down in The Vault in Wind Street, Swansea. See you there!

What a good night last Saturday was at the Ynystawe Cricket Club for the charity event in aid of breast cancer. Great to see the place packed and everyone giving their support to the charity. Many thanks to Morriston based band Pass The Peas for getting the evening kicked off. Once we know the final total of the money raised on the night - we'll let you know.
It's another week and another gig - next Saturday night (6th Feb) we'll be at the Office in Swansea. See you there!

Important: The gig this coming saturday at the Hungry Horse in Dunvant has had to be cancelled. Apparently, there have been growing noise issues at the venue and they need to take action adding soundproofing etc - and until that is complete, all live music is postponed. Let's hope they get it resolved quickly and live bands return !

Good to see many familiar faces in Charlton King's on NYE. Unfortunately, Gus was on a mix of Benelyn and brandy on the night to try and get him through after contracting the lurgy....... although by the end of the night he didn't look like he was complaining (who would after drinking that concoction all night ;-)

Wow - what a great night at the Vault last Saturday - and great to see so many of you there. It'll be another great party on New Year's Eve at the Charlton Kings Club up in Cheltenham next week (see Giglist). Tickets have long been sold out for this one - so it's shaping up to be a belter. Hope you all have a great time over the holidays, and a very  Merry Christmas from Final Demand.

It's that time of year again - tis the season of the xmas party. Our's will be at The Vault in Swansea (under the No Sign in Wind Street) this coming Saturday (19th Dec). Should be a cracker - and a lengthy one at that (think the band starts around 9 and plays till midnight) ! Hard to believe another year has gone already (xmas is still only once a year right !?!). Hope to see you there to start the last week before xmas with a bang !

We will NOT be playing at the Office on Friday 11th Dec (due to the venue stopping all gigs on Fridays).
More immediately, we hope to see lots of you down in Retro this Friday night (13th Nov) where the Wales v Samoa international will be on the big screen and the band will be on a short time after that concludes. See you there !

Couple of points on upcoming gigs.
Firstly, The Vault in Wind Street, Swansea, has knocked its idea of having 2 bands on a Saturday evening on the head (we did say this was a bad idea !!!). This means that we are now NOT playing there on Halloween (due to us being the midnight band) - but we WILL be playing there for a Christmas bash in December.
Secondly, we have added a late night gig at The Met Bar in Llanelli to our list following our initial gig there last Saturday. We shall be there on Friday 27th November for a late night crack ..... Hope to see you there !

Well, what a fantastic experience playing The Cavern Club was last Saturday. We had a fabulous time, and it was great to see so many familiar faces there with lots of you having made your way up to Liverpool. You all looked as though you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did! We're in Gloucestershire this weekend - at the Charlton King's Club in Cheltenham. No doubt we'll see a familiar face or two there as well!

Just to confirm that the gig at the Coyote Bar in Swansea this coming Friday 4th is ON. There was some debate as to whether this gig would go ahead as the band will be a man down (Kev is unavoidably away that evening). However, we will be going ahead as a 4-piece for one night only. So if you want to catch this rare event - we'll see you down in the Coyote Bar on Friday.

Some news on changes to our gig schedules......
Firstly, due to the economic downturn which is having an impact on a lot of gig venues, The Office in Swansea has now cancelled all gigs on Fridays - with the exception of the month of December. This has hit a couple of our gigs in the coming months.
Secondly, The Adam & Eve in Swansea has re-opend its doors to live music and is looking to build some momentum with live bands there once again. We shall be adding our support and playing there on Friday 2nd October. We hope to see as many of you there as possible to help in re-establishing the Adam as a great live music venue.

Great to see so many of you at the King's Head last Sunday (especially after the concerns with ticket availability prior to the event). A great night had by all again - even though it was EXTREMELY hot). As ever, thanks to Mark for looking after us so well - and yet again to Bob and Kenny who always help in setting things up at Bishop's Cleeve. We hope to be back sometime in the future.

It seems that people have been unable to obtain tickets for the gig at the King's Head in Bishop's Cleeve this coming bank holiday Sunday (24th) due to them being sold out! Well, Mark (the guy who runs the place) is apparently running some more tickets off - so if you try back with them from Thursday then hopefully you can get some (suggest you call them first - 01242 673260).
In another part of the country - we hope to see lots of you at Retro this coming Friday night (22nd) down in Swansea - should be a cracker !

It seems that everything has finally been sorted out now - and we want to confirm that Final Demand WILL be playing there this coming Friday (6th March). Well, what a great night New Year's Eve was at the King's Head in Bishop's Cleeve. A huge thankyou to the very many that came along, and big thanks to the owner Mark for laying on a great evening (and great food) - and for looking after us so well. Thanks also to Bob Mac and Kenny - who made the thing happen in the first place!. Rumour has it that we'll be back in the King's Head some time in the New Year - possibly a May bank holiday, so check back in the Giglist for that. In the meantime may we wish you all a very Happy New Year from Final Demand !
